What We Look For
The assessment is more than a worksheet. We pay attention to four things at once.
Number sense & foundations
Place value, fact fluency, fractions, decimals — the tools every later topic relies on.
Procedural skills
How comfortable your student is with the steps of solving — not just the answer.
Conceptual understanding
Whether the math means something, or it's only a memorized procedure.
Problem-solving stamina
What happens when a problem isn't immediately obvious — do they have a way in?

Quick Questions
Is the assessment really free?
Yes. No cost, no card on file. The only thing we ask is that you show up on time so we can give your student the full session.
How long does it take?
About 30 minutes. We'll spend a few extra minutes with the parent at the end to share what we saw.
What grades do you assess?
Grades 1–12. The assessment adapts to where your student is, so the same booking works whether they are in 2nd grade or in Algebra I.
What should my student bring?
Just themselves and a pencil. We provide everything else. They will not be put on the spot — the format is conversational.
Do I have to enroll afterward?
No. The assessment is a standalone offer. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.
Where are you located?
